The short version: your business data is yours, your customers’ data is yours, we use it only to run the service for you.
If you use the Cloud service: your account details (names, emails, hashed passwords), your business data (clients, properties, jobs, invoices, employee records, photos), usage and device metadata needed to run and secure the service, and communications with support.
If you use the Standalone app: your business data stays on your computer. We only see what you send us — support requests, license and contact details.
You enter your own customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, and billing details so the software can schedule, message, and invoice them for you. You are the controller of that data; we process it on your instructions. You are responsible for having the right to collect and email your customers.
We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not advertise to your customers. We do not read your business data except as needed to provide support you asked for or to keep the service secure and running.
Data is shared only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, message delivery if you enable it) under data-processing terms, and when the law requires it. That's the list.
Passwords are stored salted-and-hashed; sessions are signed and expiring; optional two-factor authentication is available to every user. Cloud data is backed up nightly.
We keep data while your account is active. On cancellation we retain backups briefly for recovery, then delete them — request immediate deletion and we honor it subject to legal holds.
Access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — the Export Center gives you everything in CSV, and support@lawnserviceiq.com handles the rest.
